Asterias 4 contains
material on issues of interest to children aged between 11 and 13 years old
and it presents an extensive vocabulary, enriched by many idioms of the
Greek language and everyday expressions.
Also the tutees approach a different, more difficult and abstract
vocabulary, which introduces them to a higher level of knowledge of the
Greek language.
Each unit consists of a cycle of chapters, each with a different objective.
In Asterias 4 a certain emphasis is given to the peculiarity of the Greek
syntax, difficult grammatical and syntactical phenomena are reviewed and
the student acquires a better knowledge of the new language, oral and
written.
At the end of the book there is a unit, which presents current day Greece
(politics, economy, commerce etc.) and also another unit devoted to Greek
history since 3000b.c.
